# Berth

> Berth is a self-hosted Kubernetes troubleshooting workbench for small platform teams: endpoint health, logs, events and capacity, with optional AI investigation through local Ollama or Claude on your own account. AI tools do not apply cluster changes. Access depends on Kubernetes permissions; dashboard users are trusted cluster administrators. Viewing needs no license; a free Community key enables changes up to 10 nodes. Enterprise enables cloud AI. Token budgets are admission controls, not a guaranteed billing ceiling.
